Western Yunnan ( Gongshan, Fugong, Bijiang ) and Tibet ( Dulong Valley ). Born in the valley side of the forest trunk or rock, 1200-3200 meters above sea level. Nepal, Sikkim, India and Myanmar are also distributed. Type specimens from Nepal. This species is very close to C.fimbriata and C.pallens Ridl., especially with C.pallens, not only the difference is very subtle, but also has a transition. G. Seidenfaden [ Dansk Bot. Ark. 29 ( 4 ) : 23.figure.6.1975 ] thought that this species also produced in Thailand, but later thought it was the wrong identification of C.pallens. The specimens ( Z. H. Tsi 71-752 ) collected in Xishuangbanna, southern Yunnan, have similar difficulties. Although it was identified as this species [ Acta Phytotax.Sin.33 ( 3 ) : 290.1995 ], it was also identified as C.pallens. We think that these three species may be more appropriate to merge into one. It is temporarily retained here for further research.
