Leaves : Pseudophosphorous stem apex two leaves, thin leathery leaves, about 11.5 to 27.5 cm long, about 2.5 to 4 cm wide, whole lanceolate, base broad wedge-shaped, dorsal main vein uplift. | ||
Flowers : scape about 10 cm, born between two leaves of the top of the annual pseudobulb. Racemes, usually with 1-2 flowers, with a slight aroma, flowers open 15-20 days. The middle sepals are concave oblong or lanceolate, about 4.5 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. Lateral sepals ca. 4.5 cm long, ca. 1.5 cm wide, ovate oblong, apex acute ; petals linear, ca. 4. 5 cm long, 0. 4 cm wide, nearly equal to sepals. Lip flap suboblong, 3-lobed : lateral lobes semiovate, erect ; with a few irregular orange spots ; the lip plate has 3 longitudinal folds extending from the base to the middle of the lip plate with wavy teeth and a large brownish orange wave at the tip of the folds. Stamens ca. 2.6 cm long, front curved, upper part with semicircular wings.
Flowering : March-May.
