Stem : Epiphytic, aerial roots developed, from the node of the stem issued many long and slightly curved and slightly flat roots, fleshy and smooth. Stems not obvious, usually with 2 leaves. | ||
Leaf : leaf basal, fleshy, green on both sides, long round lanceolate or oval, about 4.4-6cm long, about 1.9-2cm wide. The apex is two-lobed, the base wedge-narrowed and has a joint and sheath. | ||
Flowers : Inflorescence from the stem base, long oblique, racemose inflorescence, flower white with wine red development, inflorescence 1-2, pedicel with ovary length of about 1-1.5 cm, bracts wide lanceolate or ovate, membranous, apex acute ; sepals and petals subwhite, middle sepals subovate, ca. 6mm long, ca. 2mm wide, apex obtuse ; petals subobovate, ca. 6 mm long, ca. 3 mm wide, apex rounded ; lateral lobes nearly oval, born on the stamens, about 4-6mm long, about 4mm wide, apex acute ; lip flap 3-lobed, lateral lobe erect, nearly crescent-shaped, yellow with brown spots ; middle lobe with mobile joint, subtriangular, and at the mobile joint with an accessory of a nearly oblong erect apex split into 4 filaments ; middle lobe base with 1 nearly obcordate appendage white with wine red spots, apex erect and concave with 4 short filaments ;
Stamens yellow, subcordate, two points on both sides of base, one black dot on each side of upper part ; calyx narrow, drooping, ; medicine cap nearly white, nearly semicircular and apex acuminate ; 2 pollen clusters.
