The ovaries of this species have 6 wavy wings, which are easy to identify, but we have not yet collected specimens. A type specimen of Liparis amplifolia Schltr. ( from Yongsheng, Yunnan, China ), identified as L. regnieri Finet by Tang Jin and Wang Fazuan in 1938 at the Botanical Garden Museum in Berlin, China. This is obviously correct, since the description of the new species matches the features, particularly the undulating winged ovary. Later, G. Seidenf aden ( 1976 ) cited in his study a specimen of L. regnieri from Tengchong, Yunnan ( Forrest 8814 ). The above description is taken from the original records of L. amplifolia and is based on the data of L. regnieri. C and SW Yunnan [Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam].The type specimen was collected from Vietnam. | ||
