Herbs, epiphytic, rather tall and large. Pseudobulbs somewhat densely arranged, base often ± prostrate, attenuate from base to apex, upper part erect, usually cylindric, rarely suboblong, (3-)7-18 cm × 3-8(-12) mm. | ||
Leaves 2; petiole 1-4 cm, articulate; blade linear-oblanceolate or linear-spatulate, 8-25 × 1.2-3 cm, papery, apex acuminate and apiculate. | ||
Inflorescence recurved, 14-30 cm; peduncle somewhat compressed, very narrowly winged, upper part with 1 or 2 sterile bracts; rachis 9-20 cm, many flowered; floral bracts narrowly lanceolate, 3-7 mm, membranous. Flowers greenish white or pale greenish yellow; pedicel and ovary 4-7 mm. Dorsal sepal subelliptic-oblong, 2-3 × 0.8-1 mm, margin revolute, apex obtuse; lateral sepals ovate-elliptic, slightly wider than dorsal sepal. Petals narrowly linear, 2-3 × ca. 0.3 mm, apex rounded; lip recurved from middle, nearly ovate-oblong, 2-3 × ca. 1.7 mm, base ecallose, margin slightly undulate, apex subacute or mucronate.
