Stem : Plants clustered epiphytic, erect.
Plant size : 15 ~ 30 cm, pseudobulb stout, nearly spindle-shaped, upper 4 ridges, lower narrowed into a thin cylinder.

Leaves : Leaf margin entire usually 3-4, 2 columns, alternate near apex of pseudobulb, acute, leathery ; broad lanceolate to ovate, 9.5-13 cm long, 2.5-5 cm wide ; the midvein is concave on the leaf surface, the leaf is protruded, and each side has obvious lateral veins 1-2 ; leaf base broad wedge.

Flowers : The raceme is born on the leafy node, the back of the leaf base, drooping, composed of most dense flowers. The flowers are born on the pedicel in an interactive way, and the outer contour is nearly oblong. Pedicel nearly white, bracts broad linear, apex blunt tip. With several parallel veins. Flowers medium, ca. 4.5 cm in diam., spreading, yellowish white, pedicels adjoining ovary ca. 3.3 cm, slender, white, yellowish near calyx tube ; sepals and petals are white, lateral sepal base united into yellow sepal sac ; the lip is bright orange yellow, with orange yellow scales on the front and back. Middle sepals long ovate, obtuse, ca. 2.3 cm long, ca. 1.1 cm wide ; lateral sepals long ovate, ca. 2.5 cm long, ca. 1.1 cm wide ; petals suborbicular, ca. 2.5 cm long, ca. 1.6 cm wide, slightly concave. The lip flap is nearly round, slightly concave, the end of the lip flap is white, the edge is tassel-like or eyelash-like, and the base is spaced ; the corpus callosum protrudes near the base of the central lip, with two orange-yellow ridges on each side. The stamen column is light yellow, the stamen column foot is orange yellow, and there is a concave hole at the base connected to the lip valve ; drug cap yellow white ; two pollen grains, light yellow.
