Stem : Stem erect or oblique, slightly fleshy, cylindrical, thick 2-4mm, old stem yellow law color, 2-year-old stem wrapped by white membranous sheath leaf sheath residue was torn fibrous, non-branched, multi-node, internode length 2.1-2.8cm.

Leaves : Leaves papery, oblong-lanceolate, ca. 4.6-10 cm long, 0.8-1.3 cm wide, apex acute or acuminate, base with sheath holding stem, with several raised veins.

Flowers : racemes several, from the upper part of last year ' s 2 - year-old stem with 1-3 flowers ; inflorescence stalk is short, about 3-6mm long, the base is sheathed ; bracts pale white, membranous, oblong, ca. 0.4 mm long, apex acute or obtuse ; pedicel and ovary ca. 2.1-2.5 cm ; flowers spreading, ca. 3. 5-4. 5 cm in diameter ; sepals and petals milky white, upper purplish red ; middle sepals narrowly oblong lanceolate, ca. 2-2.5 cm long, ca. 4-6 mm wide, apex acuminate ; lateral sepals similar to middle sepals, slightly distorted, equal in size, apex acuminate, base slightly oblique ; calyx sac small, long conical, about 4 mm long, about 2 mm wide ; petals oblong or lanceolate, ca. 2.6-2.8 cm long, ca. 1.1 cm wide, apex acute, margin undulate ; the lip is orange-yellow, the upper part is purple-red, nearly round, both sides are densely covered with short villi, the edge is finely serrated, the apex is tapered and wavy ; stamen column length about 4 mm ; medicine cap narrow conical, densely covered with white crystalline mastoid, front edge with irregular teeth. Flowering May-July. |
