越南扁石斛Dendrobium trantuanii
Epiphytic plant, southwestern Yunnan, Vietnam. The altitude is about 1700 meters.

Stem : The stem is long and flat, fleshy and thick, gradually tapering down, and the upper part expands. | ||
Leaves : Leaves papery, long oval, about 5-6.5cm long, about 1.8-2.6cm wide, leaves are two rows of alternate, apex two crack unequal, midrib in the leaf surface depression, leaf back protuberance.

Flowers : light pink flowers, opposite to leaves, diameter of about 3.6-4.6 cm, pedicel with ovary length of about 5.2-6.3 cm, bracts wide lanceolate or semiovate, membranous, apex acute ; sepals white pink, petals pink, medium sepals lanceolate or ovate, ca. 2. 3 cm long, ca. 0. 9 cm wide, apex acuminate ; petals elliptic, ca. 1.8-2.5 cm long, ca. 1.2 cm wide, middle and apex downward curved ; lateral sepals lanceolate, apex acuminate, base wider, about 2 cm long, about 0.9 cm wide ; lip flap 3 - lobed, middle lobe base clawed, middle part thickened dark brown and with 3 veins, apex dark red and densely villous, back smooth, deep red ; lateral lobes sublong elliptic, yellowish green, base with a dark red crescent. The base of the stamen column is dark purple, and a straight tumor protuberance near the base, the stamen column and the cap grass are green.
