Stem : Stem erect or oblique, cylindrical, coarse, unbranched, with several nodes, internode length of about 3.2-7.5 cm, with several longitudinal edges, persistent incomplete fibrous sheath. | ||
Leaves : Leaves 2-5 alternate at the upper end of the stem, leathery, base with a joint and leaf sheath, oblong or oblong lanceolate, about 10.5-15.2 cm long, 3.5-5.7 cm wide, apex unequally dichotomous and obtuse or convex. | ||
Flowers : racemes laterally on upper stem with or without leaves, drooping, about 16-25 cm long ; bracts sublanceolate, ca. 1.8-2.1 cm long, pedicels together with ovary ca. 3.8-4.4 cm long ; inflorescence stalk is short, covered by sheath ; inflorescence axis pink or pale purple with white ; flowers densely many, flowers spreading, sepals and petals pink or pale pink ; middle sepals ovate, ca. 2. 3-2. 4 cm long, ca. 1-1. 3 cm wide, apex obtuse, entire ; petals subovate, ca. 2.3-2.6 cm long, ca. 1.5-1.8 cm wide, apex obtuse, margin with irregular fine teeth ; the lip is golden yellow, nearly round, with a white crescent shape at the tip. The edge is wavy but serrated above the middle, and tassel-like below. The two sides near the base are rolled into a circle and the edge is tassel-like and surrounds the stamen column. The base has a claw of about 3 mm long, and the front of the claw has a ridge of about 5 mm long, thickened and slightly elevated. Stamens pale yellow, ca. 3 mm long, wings purple on both sides ; stamens pale yellow, about 5 mm long, base concave into a small hole ; medicine cap white, front and rear flattened cone.
