Epiphytic, perennial herbs. Born at an altitude of 800 ~ 1300 meters broad-leaved forest on the trunk or forest rocks.
Western Hubei, northern Hunan, southern Sichuan and northern Guizhou.

Leaves : Leaves several, oblong, leathery, 2 rows alternate. | ||
Flowers : racemes with 1-4 flowers ; flower bracts pale white, apex with brown spots. Flowers purplish red, spreading ; petals nearly elliptic, slightly curly ; sepals nearly oblong, gradually narrow ; lip valve ovate - lanceolate, 3 - lobed, middle lobe base with 1 brown corpus callosum ; the base of pistil column has brown spots.
