Leaves : Leaves alternate, leathery, sheath papery, light white after drying. | ||
Stem : epiphytic, stem drooping, cylindrical, with several sections, internode length of about 2.5-4cm, leaf sheath with several veins or persistent fibrous sheath. | ||
Flowers : racemes, each 1-2 flowers as a bunch, from fallen leaves or leafy old stems ; peduncle ca. 4-5 mm, base covered with 2-3 membranous sheaths ; bracts membranous, triangular, about 2 mm long, apex acute ; pedicel and ovary light brown with grass green, ovary part with longitudinal ridge, about 3.1-3.5 cm long ; flowers spreading, drooping, sepals and petals pale pink ; middle sepals subsword - shaped, with several veins, about 3.7 - 3.9 cm long, about 1 cm wide, apex acute ; the petals are nearly ovate-lanceolate, with several veins, forked veins on both sides near the edge, and small teeth on the edge. The length is about 3.8-4.1 cm, and the width is about 1.3-1.4 cm. Lateral sepals sublanceolate, with several veins, slightly raised at the back of middle rib line, about 4.5-4.7 cm long, about 1 cm wide, apex acute ; the lip is nearly round, purplish red and with several forked veins. The base is narrow and clawed. There is a thickened ridge near the base in the middle, about 8-9 mm in length. Both sides of the labial disc have a dark red plaque, covered with short fluff to the top, the edge is slightly Zou wave shape and short tassel ; stamens white with pale purple, ca. 6 mm long ; pilose leg purple with white, base concave into a small hole ; the cap is purple red, with a white line in the middle, and the front end of the cap has teeth and short villi.
