Stem : epiphytic plant, stem cylindrical, base obviously thin, up thick, not branched, with most nodes ; the stems are wrapped by persistent leaf sheaths or the remaining leaf sheaths are torn fibrous.

Leaves : Leaves usually several, dichotomous alternate in the upper part of the stem, sub-leathery, long lanceolate, ca. 5.5-8.3 cm long, ca. 0.9-1.7 cm wide, base constricted and expanded into stem sheath, sheath near purple spots, new stem most obvious.

Flowers : racemes from the upper part of old stems with fallen leaves or leaves, with 2 to more flowers ; bracts membranous, subovate, apex acute ; pedicels together with ovary ca. 3.2 cm long, flowers spreading, ca. 3.5-4.1 cm in diameter, pale pink, white near base ; middle sepals ovate oblong, base with 3 crystalline protrusions, about 2.5 cm long, about 0.7 mm wide, apex acute ; petals lanceolate, base with 2 crystalline slightly raised, about 2.3 cm long, 1.8 cm wide, apex acuminate ; lateral sepals obliquely ovate-lanceolate or oblong, ca. 2. 5 cm long, ca. 0. 8 mm wide, apex acute ; calyx sac white with light purple, conical, nearly rounded end ; the lip flap is white, the apex is acuminate and pink, and the width is ovate. The lip disc has a large purplish red plaque in the middle and is densely covered with villi, followed by a pale purple oval corpus callosum. The pistil column is white, with a purple black spot on each side. There is a eggplant purple patch in the middle of the pistil column foot, and there are 2 purple black spots at the end. There are green ridges in the middle, and the joints connected with the lips are strongly thickened. Medicine cap purplish red, base white, nearly oval.
