Roots and stems : epiphytic herbs, stems clustered, nearly cylindrical, bending back, 3-8cm long, diameter 2-4mm, internode length 6-12mm, dried brown or stained brown.

Leaves : 2-4 leaves in the upper part of the stem, nearly leathery, rectangular lanceolate, 1.4-2.6 cm long, 5-8 mm wide, blunt apex, slightly hooked, basal sheath, leaf sheath tubular, membranous, stem, persistent.

Flowers : racemes laterally on the leafless stem end of last year, single or double flowers, with a total stem of about 5 mm long and several imbricate sheaths at the base ; bracts membranous, ovate triangular, pale white, flowers spreading, sepals and petals white, with 5 veins ; middle sepals oblong-elliptic, 1-1.6 cm long, 3-4.8 mm wide at middle, apex acute ; lateral sepals shorter than middle sepals, but slightly wider, base connate with stylet to form calyx sacs, calyx sacs ovoid, ca. 6 mm long ; petals oblong, 9-14 mm long, 3-5 mm wide at middle, apex acute, contour ovate-globose after lobes spreading, ca. 1.1 cm long, 1 pale yellow callose near base, 3-lobed, lateral lobes much shorter than middle lobes, middle lobe ovate-triangular, pubescent, labial disc with 1 purple patch, and pubescent ; stamens stout, ca. 2 mm long, base extending to ca. 8 cm long ; medicine cap nearly spherical, ovary handle length 1.2-2.5 cm.

Fruit : Capsule obovate lanceolate, about 1.2 cm long, about 5 mm in diameter, with 6 longitudinal ridges outside, stamens remaining at the top, fruit stem narrowing to the base, stem length of about 3 cm.
