Epiphytic herb, rhizomes creeping rooting, 2-4 mm in diam. Pseudobulbs ca. 5-50 mm spaced on rhizomes, ovate or ovate-conical, ca. 10-40 × 4-6 mm, 0.3-0.5 mm thick above base, apex 1 leaf, base decayed by sheath, remaining mostly fibrous, yellowish brown glossy after drying. | ||
Leaves oblong, 40-160 × 5-25mm, apex obtuse, emarginate, base narrow into petiole ; petiole 10-20 mm. | ||
The scape is drawn from the base of the pseudobulb, shorter than the leaf, 40-90 mm long ; umbrella often has 2-4 flowers ; bracts lanceolate, acuminate, ca. 8 × 2 mm, concave ; the peduncle and ovary are about 15 mm long. Flowers yellowish green, sepals and petals on the purple spots ; lip base white with purple spots, apex pink, keel ridge pink. Middle sepals ovate, acuminate, ca. 8 × 5 mm, 5 veins ; lateral sepals falcate lanceolate, base adnate to pistil column foot, margin not distorted, about 10 × 5 mm, 5 veins ; petals lanceolate, denticulate, ca. 5 × 2 mm, 2-veined, apex caudate ; lip flap curved, lingual, base subcordate, margin papillate, apex obtuse and glossy, from the middle to the apex with a longitudinal ridge, apex obtuse, about 8 × 3 mm ; stamen column ca. 2 mm ; stamens ca. 6 mm long, apex connate to lip flap ; pistil column wing wide triangle ; stamens triangular, ca. 1 mm long ; medicine cap nearly spherical with obvious ridge.
