Stems : Rhizomes creeping, branching, 3-4 mm in diameter. The pseudobulbs are nearly clustered, oblate, with a diameter of 8-13 mm. The new pseudobulbs are brownish green and covered with white membranous sheath. The old pseudobulbs become dark purple and wrinkled on the surface, with two leaves on the top. 

Leaves : Leaves sub-leathery, obovate-lanceolate, 5.5-8.9 cm long, 0.9-1.4 cm wide, upper dark green, with white fine lines, back pale green with purple halo, apex 2-lobed.

Flowers : scapes l-2, extacted from base of current-year pseudobulb, glabrous, 23-2.5 cm long ; the peduncle is 1-1.2 cm long, with 3-4 sheaths : sheath cup-shaped, 5-7 mm long, apex acuminate ; raceme curved, 0 8-1.4 cm long, densely covered with 4-8 flowers ; the bracts are large, white, slightly curved, ovate-lanceolate, 5-6 mm long, about 3.5 mm wide, base heart-shaped, apex acuminate, margin with fine teeth ; pedicel and ovary short, about 1.5 mm long. Flowers greenish-white, with purple longitudinal : Sepals greenish-white, ovate-oblong, abaxial surface with 3 purple longitudinal stripes, pubescent along midvein, middle sepals slightly concave, ca. 3.5 mm long, ca. 2 mm wide, margin entire, apex shortly convex, base margin of lateral sepals adherent, ca. 5 mm long, ca. 2.5 mm wide, apex slightly concave, acuminate ; petals linear, 4 mm long, 0.8 mm wide, back with l purple longitudinal stripes, edge with fine serration ; lip petals dark purple, fleshy, tongue-shaped, folded, bent, 3 mm long, 1.5 mm wide ; stylet length 1 mm, stylet teeth narrow, erect about 1 mm, stylet foot length 1.2 mm. 

Flowering : 9 ~ 10 months.

Fruit : capsule oval, 5 mm long, 2.5 mm in diameter. 

Fruiting period : October to November.
